Havasu Iron Man Extreme Golf Tournament Is Back

It’s that time of year for the 12th Annual Havasu Iron Man Extreme Golf Tournament. The tournament is growing each year with several great players. Last year’s tournament raised over $16,000 for Lake Havasu City scholarships and youth groups. This year’s tournament is expected to bring in much more.

The Mohave State Bank, BJ’s Cabana Bar, and Campbell Redi Mix will be this year’s sponsors. Without these great sponsors, the tournament could not happen.

This year’s tournament players are coming from miles around. Some are coming from as far away as Missouri. They will all compete for the title of Havasu Iron Man Champ at three of Lake Havasu City‘s golf courses. The Havasu Island Golf Course, London Bridge West Golf Course, and London Bridge East Golf Course are all part of the game. The winner will win $10,000.

Entry fees will be $150. This will include cart, green fees, golfer goody bag, and a tournament shirt. Players need to register on Friday, August 22. There will also be a tee-off party on Friday. At the end of the tournament, on Saturday night, there will be a Prime Rib Awards Dinner at the 55th hole.

Don’t miss your chance to be part of Lake Havasu City’s history. Join the fun.

Getting Geared Up To Sell Your Home

National headlines may tell us that the housing market is almost dead, but economic experts are predicting that home sales will be improving soon. So, get geared up to sell your home.

Small changes can make a huge difference. First do an inspection of the exterior and interior of your home to see what needs improvement. Start with your yard and give it some curb appeal. Plant some flowers and bushes, do some hedge trimming, add mulch to existing flower beds, and paint the house. This gets buyers into your home.

Then, start on the interior of your home and try some small remodeling like replacing interior doors. It’s inexpensive and can really help. Give the interior some new paint and do a thorough cleaning. Pack up everything you can, and put it in storage so the home is not personalized to you. This way, buyers can see their own things in the space.

Remember, first impressions go a long way. You want potential buyers to be really impressed with what they see.
